Kepler Vision Technologies Raises € 1.7 M Seed Funding

UvA Ventures and four other investors put € 1.7 million into Kepler Vision Technologies. The capital is used for the development of computer vision and machine learning. Kepler thus enables body language recognition in videos. The technology is used to enable advanced communication between robots and people. For example, you can think of applications in the security sector.

 

 

The investment  contributes to the further strengthening of the AI ecosystem on the Science Park campus

Peter Krijnsen, director of UvA Ventures: “This investment also contributes to the further strengthening of the beautiful AI ecosystem on the Science Park campus.” Kepler is also finalist for the $ 1 M investment price for the most innovative AI startup by Microsoft Ventures and Notion Capital.

The founders of Kepler Vision Technogies were previously involved in another Artificial Intelligence (AI) spin-off of the University of Amsterdam: Euvision Technologies. This startup was purchased in 2014 by the American chip manufacturer Qualcomm Technologies.
