This led to a plethora of unnecessary false alarms that were eventually not followed up by nurses.<\/p>\n<p>In the summer of 2023, UZ Brussel launched a major upgrade of their monitoring system, introducing the AI-driven \u2018Kepler Night Nurse\u2019 from Kepler Vision Technologies, a fall detection and prevention system that uses a sensor in the rooms to monitor patients.<\/p>
