The NurseAssist solution from Kepler Vision Technologies and MOBOTIX received a major upgrade this week. The MOBOTIX c71 Smart Sensor now detects even more accurately and improves precision, resulting in fewer false alarms. The NurseAssist sensors remain fully GDPR- and HIPAA-compliant, ensuring patient and resident privacy and safety. <\/p>\n

Following the successful launch of the NurseAssist, the first joint solution of Kepler Vision Technologies and MOBOTIX in November 2023, a new upgrade of the reliable fall detection has been launched with additional functionalities. It can be used in hospitals, elderly care facilities or psychiatric clinics. Compared to conventional systems, false alarms can be reduced by 90 percent. <\/p>\n

The original MOBOTIX c71 camera had basic Kepler NurseAssist functionality, such as detecting whether a patient is in bed, out of bed or has fallen.
The Kepler NurseAssist software upgrade launched today can now also distinguish between; a patient sitting on the floor, a patient entering or leaving the room, a patient sitting on the edge of a bed, as well as when a patient enters the bathroom.
MOBOTIX and Kepler Vision Technologies are among the leading IT experts in the security and healthcare industry.
