Kepler NurseAssist is an embedded version of Kepler’s AI technology running directly on the MOBOTIX C71 camera. It provides 360° room coverage, automatic fall detection and early-risk monitoring, all processed locally on the device to ensure privacy and reliable in-room supervision.

The Kepler NurseAssist works in three steps:

The embedded software on the smart sensor is very easy to use.

1. Installation

You install the optical sensor on the ceiling of a resident’s room or in the ceiling of the general area.

2. Detection

The Kepler NurseAssist recognizes risky situations or emergencies without human intervention. These are instantly transmitted by the smart sensor to the nurse.

3. Alert

Caregivers are alerted via a notification on their phones or pagers.

Kepler NurseAssist detects within 10 seconds if patient falls.

In bed

Kepler NurseAssist detects a client who is in bed, no matter where the bed is in the room. This even works if the bed is moved during cleaning.

Out of bed

Kepler NurseAssist detects being out of bed but still in the room.

EXTENDED VERSION

Sitting on the edge of the bed

Kepler NurseAssist detects when patient sits on edge of bed.

Sitting on the floor

Kepler NurseAssist detects when patient is on the floor. The care worker can prioritise other falls where the patient is on the ground.
